the flowers are bloomin' marvelous........

I adore poppies and have always had them in my gardens, I love the fact that I didn't actuallt plant these , I scattered seeds last year and these have appeared, just magical.

the mavelous violas, or pansy's I'm not sure what they are, are from last year and totally unexpected, but wonderful. next year I'm going to plant some violets, traditional ones, huighly scented I've found a wonderful violet specialist in cornwall.
who says there is no such thing as magic, if you have a garden you are surrounded by magic every day

how time flys

well I was trying to be good and blog more regularly, but the sun and the weeds and the above beauty has devoured all my time. we still have a few panes missing , but come this weekend, i will be moving all my gardening stuff in and having a play!!!!

that is "the scotsman", inside, he is responsible for the complete rebuilding of the green house, it was a wreck hidden in bracken and nettles, he's had to dig it out piece by piece , reassemble the bits he had and construct the woooden frame pieces, all from old pallets, total cost £45!!! and a lot of love. blood. sweat and tea!!!
I'm soo proud, of him and the greenhouse.

in between the snow............

I can see you!...... what a cutie!!!
Again excuse the strange colour, maybe it was the strange weather.
I love the English weather, snowing one moment, sun shine the next and all in April, supposedly spring!!!
I have been to to the far east, spending Christmas day in a tee shirt, sweltering was very strange. I 'm a very pale skinned , green eyed and slightly freckly person, so hot weather is not really my thing, but today was bizarre, how wonderful!!!
as Billy Connolly says
" there's no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing" Well said!

the veg patch doesn't look too inspiring, that's the garlic at the front, you wait !!!!I'll show you me onions later!!!

the lavender ladies, enjoying the sunshine

and the kitchen window sill, where else would you grow your seedlings!!! let me introduce you, from left to right, that's lemon coriander, sweet peas, sunflowers, and basil.
and this is normal coriander and lemon coriander again, she's a bit pushy,
