sooooo busy..........

Usually for my birthday week I take at least the day off, Now I'm working for myself I will be working tomorrow!!!!!
I have such a packed week, which is good, more work means more money etc.
I get the feeling that this is going to be a busy summer

I'm opening my garden on Sunday for the village open gardens.

I've even agreed to bake some cakes for the village hall, blimey!!! me and my big mouth.

even if your not interested in the gardens. It's worth it for the Vintage bus ride, which you can hop on and off all day. great fun.

and have agreed to go to a Charity Coffee morning on Saturday,I really am only 2 steps away from the W.I. !!!!!I don't think I have EVER been to a coffee morning, my landlady persuaded me she's in her 80's and so sweet, but it was her that got me to agree to the open gardens thing, is anyone else bullied by a sweet old lady!!!

but I'm determined to fit this in

even for a couple of hours.
I should of course be tidying the garden for Sunday but I so want to go see the caravan . and as I'm so wrapped up in the stonewylde books, would so like to meet the Author, she seems so nice!!!and the books are wonderful I would highly recommend them.

I may go here tomorrow as a birthday treat it is just down the road and does lovely coffee

Oh wow, look at that amazing caravan!! I wish I could go, I am fascinated by the folklore of the British Isles. Glad to see there is another Phil Rickman fan out there - do you read the Merrily Watkins books?

Funnily enough, Jane, Athelhampton was one of the places that the Hall was based on. It was a conglomeration of many places of course, but Athelhampton was a place I spent a day at, making notes and taking photos! Hope to meet you too on Saturday! Thanks for the lovely things you've said about Stonewylde. Bright blessings to you! And Happy Birthday for tomorrow! xxx

Hi Jane, thank you for dropping by my blog. I love looking at your inspirations, it's funny where it comes from. I'm keen to start the Stonewylde series, but there's always something else that gets in the way!

Have a good Birthday
